Screenprinting
The tried and true method of garment printing!
Your artwork is etched into a mesh screen, ink is then forced through the screens onto the garment where it is finally cured in a heat tunnel. This is a long lasting and durable method of garment printing, ideal for business & trade, retail or events. Screenprinting is very cost effective in medium to higher volume runs, with auto and manual screen printing presses onsite, we can handle orders from 10 - 1000+. With a huge variety of coloured inks, Stitch n Print can work with you to match branding colours or help to enhance your design by finding the perfect complimentary colour to make it pop!
Minimum order and setup charges do apply, which is dependent on the number of colours in the design (e.g 2 colour design = 2 screens), and the size of the design.
The screens are not kept following the run (unless by prior arrangement), but your film work is. A reduced re-setup charge may apply for additional future print runs.
Embroidery
The art of needle and thread where your logo is sewn/embroidered onto the item. Best suited to smaller logos on the chest area or sleeves of garments, bags, caps and beanies. With an extensive range of coloured thread available, we can closely match to your logo or design.
No minimum order quantity, but a 1-off set up charge to turn your design/artwork into an embroidery-ready file will apply. Suitable for orders of 1 - 100+ (Set up charge does not apply for typed basic text or names using our fonts).
Digitally printed heat press transfers
Our digitally printed transfers are a great option when your artwork has a high colour count but only a small quantity of prints are required. The design is digitally printed directly onto high quality, super-thin vinyl using premium CMYK inks, cut out and then pressed directly onto the garment. There is more flexibility with sizing of the design, changing print colours (to work on different coloured garments), and placement location on the garment with digital prints.
Suitable for orders of 1 - 20. (Set up charge does not apply for typed basic text or names using our fonts).
Supacolour/DTF transfers
The next level in digital printing, these transfers are a hybrid of digital print (for the detail and vibrant colours) backed by a screen printed base. These transfers have a light feel and are colourfast, not fading in the wash like digital transfers can.
Minimum order of 10 applies and set up charges may apply depending on the artwork supplied.

What is a vector file?
All screenprinters require digital vector files to work from... this means the original, editable file the design was created in. The design is essentially made up of points on a grid which can be easily scaled or cropped without any loss to the quality of the design. Common vector file types are: .ai, .eps, .svg and .pdf
All other file types are raster files...these are uneditable, flattened copies of the original file, that while may seem sharp enough on your laptop or mobile screen, quickly lose resolution when scaled up (or down). These files can be problematic to work from and can result in loss of quality, meaning your print will never be as sharp and bold as it can be. Common raster file types are: .jpg, .png and .gif
Always try to source and provide us with your vector files first, and if you do not have them then contact us to discuss your options

Sublimated and woven teamwear:
Sublimation printing is were the dyes are impregnated into the fabric which is then cut out and sewn together. These garments are entirely custom with almost as many logos and colours as you want all for a flat fee.
Sublimation printing is available for singlets, tees, polos, shorts, tights, hoodies, BMX / cycling / netball / athletics / rowing / rugby and league apparel. Also available are custom woven ties and socks.
Minimum orders do apply as may artwork charges.
